True North 34 Cutter built for cruising the world

True North 34 Cutter, built and outfitted for world cruising.

T.gifhis True North 34 Cutter, designed by Stan Huntingford, is strongly built to cruise the high seas.

Rigged as a cutter, the vessel has a self-tacking staysail as well as a Schaefer furling system for the headsail.

Powered by a 30 HP Yanmar diesel, this vessel has sailed the Pacific West Coast from British Columbia to Mexico, with the kind of gear you would want for long-range cruising:

  • Aries wind vane

  • Autohelm 4000

  • Raytheon radar.

  • Sea anchor

  • GPS and plotter with charts to Panama
