Maas 37 Steel Sloop has sailed the world

ith its attractive classic design, this 37-foot steel sloop was constructed in 1964 in Holland. The vessel's round plated hull is incredibly fair, and the tasteful use of wood gives her an elegant appearance befitting her history.

Her cruising itinerary has included interesting ports of call throughout Europe, the Mediteranean and the Baltic Sea, including Malta, Libya, Tunisia, Sicily and Greece. In recent years, she has sailed the Pacific Coast of the U.S. and currently is lying in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Outfitted for comfortable cruising, the boat includes roller furling, auto-pilot, solar panels, wind generator, radar, ham radio, refrigeration, watermaker, windvane and a good sail inventory including a "lazy bag" system for stowing the main. The engine is a Perkins M-30 diesel.
