Converted U.S. Navy vessel strong, economical and comfortable
 

his former U.S. Navy Air/Sea Rescue Vessel, converted to a private yacht, must be sold IMMEDIATELY to settle a divorce. With all of the comforts of home, the vessel has been used for eco-tourist charters, doing liveaboard diving, snorkeling, kayaking and whale watching adventures in the Sea of Cortez based in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Originally built in 1941 by the U.S. Navy as an air & sea rescue vessel, Marco Polo has been thoroughly refit over the last couple of years.

Belowdecks, guests are accommodated in three cabins with bunks for eight and two private heads with enclosed showers. Aft of the pilothouse are two private cabins, each with two bunks crew. An additional head with shower is located aft of the main salon.

The galley is a gourmet's delight with full-sized stove with oven and microwave, refrigerator, freezer and trash compactor. A giant main salon has two dining tables and lots of comfortable seating.

The boat is equipped with two generators (one needs replacing), a watermaker and air conditioning, and is powered by two 350-horse Cummins diesel engines. Electronics include SSB and VHF radios, two radars, GPS and Fish Finder. A current survey is available.
