U.S. Navy 36' Mini Armored Troop Carrier great for dive expeditions

his U.S. Navy surplus Mini Armored Troop Carrier (MATC) can go into shallow waters, and get there fast, with twin jets powered by Detroit Diesel engines. Formerly used by the Navy's Special Forces unit, the vessel now is imported into Mexico and is authorized for commercial use. The MATC, made of aluminum and 36-ft. long, is propelled by Nomera jets that are powered by twin 500 HP Detroit Diesels for a total of 1,000 HP. With a beam of 12'9", the vessel accommodates two crew and 15 passengers or 4,400 lbs. of cargo. The hydraulic bow ramp makes for easy beach landings, and the MATC has a full cockpit bimini for shade underway. Originally purchased through the Navy Surplus program, it has had very little use.
