Fastened with resourcinal glue and silicon bronze anchor fast nails, frames 2 x 2 inch laminated douglas fir on 12 inch centers. All exteriors covered with two layers of 6 oz fiberglass, four layers below the waterline; decks are two layers of 3/4 inch fir. This gives a very strong construction. The interlocking construction method was tested using a section 1 x 2 ft, which broke under three point loading with a load of 5700 lbs.
