Exhaust System: Wet type, lift muffler secure, exhaust plumbing appears
to have been recently redone.
Ventilation: Ambient air
Coupling: Dampening type, appears in good condition
Shaft: 1 1/4" S.S.
Shaft Bearing (Cutlass): Recommend replacing
Propeller: Bronze 3 bladed 18 x 12 RH. Satisfactory condition.
Comments: The engine was not operated, boat is on the hard. It was only
observed. There was no noted oil or water leak. The ventilation system
is ambient air. The mounts were solid along with the shaft alley packing
gland and coupling.

The
hoses, belts and associated engine components appeared satisfactory.
STEERING:
Type: Manual, pinnacle-type helm
Comments: The system is a manual helm to chain to cable to the rudder
bellcrank. The steering system is of a good design and well layed out.
Everything was solid, the cables, checked ok, where necessary it was safe-tied.
The rudder shaft, and trunk appeared in good condition.
TANKAGE
& PIPING:
Fuel Tanks: 1
Capacity: Reported 40 gal.
Material: Stainless steel
Installation: The tank is located under the starboard settee seat. It
is secure. There is no shut off valve noted at the tank feed
Water Tanks: 3
Capacity: Total is reported at 150 gal.
Material: Plastic
Installation: The 3 tanks observed were located in the settee bilge
about midships, the tanks are in tandon, the center tank is loose, the
other two are secure. The system needs attention.
Cooking Fuel: Propane
Safety Valve: Yes, at the tank location
Propane Tanks: Located in forward deck comp, vented
Holding Tank: None noted
Thru Hull Valves: All thru hull valves were serviceable.

Chain Plate: Stainless steel. Secure. Backup plates and fasteners look
in good condition, good accessablity
Running Rigging: The rigging observed appeared satisfactory
Winches: All the winches were serviciable
Sail Inventory: The sails that were observed appeared well used
Comments: All rigging was observed from deck. The mast is stepped on keel
and appears secure, there is some separation at the deck to mast location.
The rigging appeared in good condition
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
A/C System: Shore power 115 VAC
Power Distribution: The inlet for the shore power was a Marinco, UL Approved
Circuit Protection: None noted
Comments: There are numerous AC outlets on a board
D/C System: 12 volts DC. Engine alternator and solar panel, batterys
Power Distribution: No control panel noted
Circuit Protection: None noted, each DC item had its own switch at their
location.
Storage Batteries:
3 12 VDC BATT. Located under the starboard settee seat
Installation: Needs securing
Ventilation: Ambient air

Wiring: Some of the wire was good Ancor Marine 12 AWG jacketed single

Galley: Hi seas 2 burner propane stove. Double sink, there is a pressure
water system but the pump needs proper installation.
