his tall ship is a pleasure to view under full sail. If you've ever dreamed of going to sea in a tall ship, here's your chance. The Spirit of Chemainus, launched in Chemainus, British Columbia, in 1985, is a replica of a 1902 Gloucouster Sloop. Beautifully constructed of douglas fir, carvel planked on oak frames, the deck house is yellow cedar and Honduran majogany. All spars are Sitka Spruce. Currently chartering in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico since 1997, the Spirit of Chemainus is licensed for 50 passengers, plus five crew and sleeps 12 in three major cabins. She has received constant and excellent maintenance, including a haul-out in October 2000 for bottom maintenance. With eco-tourist charters on the rise in the Sea of Cortez, this could be a very profitable and enjoyable operation. We think the vessel could do an outstanding charter business here in La Paz doing day trips and sunset cruises. For a complete gear list and specifications, Click Here. Have some questions?
