ACCOMMODATIONS, FURNISHINGS & LAYOUT:
The standard Moorings M 445 (Oceanis Series 440 3 stateroom layout). Forward is the molded chain locker and large sail locker with steps accessed from the deck.

Aft is the master stateroom with an island centerline double. Drawers under bunk, plus top access to storage under the berth and a large hanging locker to port. The in suite head shower combination on the starboard side is a molded unit with good storage space. Next is the main bulkhead with teak mast covering.

Continuing aft on the starboard side is the Salon with curved settee, salon table, bar locker, storage, aft facing nav. station, starboard aft head/shower and entrance to starboard aft double cabin. On the port side is the galley followed by the head/shower and the port aft double cabin. Both aft doubles offer standing head room, 2 fixed port lights, 2 opening ports and an opening overhead hatch. Also each have a hanging locker and storage under the berths.

 


Interior Layout


The interior is finished in teak with bright varnished trim with 3 opening ports and large overhead opening hatch so it is both bright and well ventilated. All cabins have 12-volt fans & halogen lighting.

GALLEY:
The galley has a top-loading refrigerator and top-loading separate freezer compartment with an engine driven Sea Frost cold plate system. The galley includes a 3 burner propane gimbaled stove with oven. Double sinks with pressure hot/cold water. Abundance of storage lockers in galley above and below the spacious counter top.

ELECTRONICS
& NAVIGATION:

One 6" compass mounted in the cockpit table. Speed, distance and depth sounder. VHF, Am/Fm Stereo Cassette/CD player with 4 speakers is in the Nav station. Plus an Autohelm autopilot.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS:
There are 3 batteries with two 4D's acting as house and one 27 for engine starting for a total of 445 AH. Battery charger is automatic 20 amp and comes with dockside cables with 30 amp service. All batteries are equipped with shut off switches as is the Lofrans electric windlass. Electrical is 12v and 110v.

SAILS & RIGGING:
SS wire rigging with an aluminum keel stepped mast, twin backstays, Pro Furl roller furling, Doyle StacPac main and boom vang. The main has a blue sail cover and the #2 Genoa has a blue sun cover also. All winches are Lewmar, the 2 primaries are self tailing 52's, the halyards/reefs/etc. are self tailing 43's. All sail controls are brought to the cockpit winches thru 5 stoppers P & S, total of 10, for ease of control.

DECK EQUIPMENT:
Two anchors on the double bow roller are a 35 lb CQR with 150' of 3/8" chain plus 50' nylon rode and a 33 lb Bruce with 3/8" chain and 3 strand rode. The hinged anchor locker cover opens to the large anchor locker and Lofrans Tigre 12v electric horizontal windlass.

There is a bow pulpit with side stanchions, lifelines and SS support rails at the mast. The blue Sunbrella tropical size bimini covers the cockpit from the backstays to the companion way and has a view window for the mainsail.

Two large seat lockers port and starboard hold plenty of gear for cruising plus the swim platform

lockers and the lazarette make abundant additional storage. The stern mounted BBQ and swim shower round out the deck area.

The Yanmar engine is fresh water cooled with raw water strainer, fuel filters, high output alternator and fridge compressor.

Engine controls, gauges and wheel are mounted on the trademark Beneteau pedestal/cockpit table with engine alarm and emergency engine stop.

Two switched fresh water pumps on a manifold assure a constant pressure water supply. Shower drain pumps are in each shower sump.

Two electric bilge pumps with one automatic the other can be switched to pump either the bilge or the fridge/freezer, plus a Whale Titan manual pump mounted in the cockpit. Engine driven Sea Frost Cold Plate fridge/freezer.
